I think my shower is the day of TWOTY

FH just called to tell me his brother wants to take us out to dinner on the 19th, and I told him we have TWOTY that day so we'll have to do it another day. He just got dead silent on the phone, and he said it can't be done any other day. Oh boy!

Does anyone know how I would go about returning my tickets? I know there's a waiting list, so hopefully someone will get lucky!

Well TWOTY is early..what time did he want to go to 'dinner' lolz...is there any way you'd want to do both or do you think you'll be wayy too tired??

I told him its over at 6, and he's just tut-tutting on the other end of the phone. I think it's earlier than that, cause he said 7 was too late for dinner. I was really looking forward to going too! Oh well, someone on the waiting list will hopefully be able to go.

yeah, he was dead silent, and he's never for a loss of words. i was also emailing my MOH about other stuff, and decided not to tell her. they try so hard to surprise me, and it never works out! he just kept asking if i could return the tix. and i know i told him very early on that TWOTY was the 19th and to make sure nothing gets planned for that day. a good listener he is not!

I FM'd client services, hopefully I'll be able to return them.

but YAY!! finally, it's my shower!!!

awwww poor guy is probably scared about ruining it. Yeah if he said 7 is too late for dinner then it will be hard to go to both...but hey its your shower so its for a great reason.

i'm gonna keep my mouth shut. i was going to say something to my MOH, but i know they worked really hard on surprising me, so i'll play the fool for now. i keep telling FH though that I dont' understand why his brother can't take us out another day, to which there's only silence.

i think this confirms it (email from FH):

don't worry, everything will be A-OK...as for 1/19, we're actually going out for a lunch, and we need to be there by 12:30pm... and it's a REALLY nice restaurant, so we need to go dressed up nice...

and i told him just last night to make sure i don't show up in my gym clothes!
