I think something is really wrong with my grandma

My dad called her a little while ago to find out if she went to go get her hair done for the wedding, and she said she went, but didn't know why. Then she asked my dad if I had a boyfriend. He was like 'what? she's getting married,' and grandma says 'what, she's getting married?' She got on the phone with my mom and started talking to her in hebrew and my mom said it sounded like her speech was slurred..... my dad called his brother to go check on her, I'm afraid she had a stroke.

We haven't heard back yet, so I am guessing everything is ok?
My mom told me she things my gma has been losing it for awhile, when she went shopping with her for a dress, she said 'there's a wedding?' and that was a couple of weeks ago.
My dad said that he didn't hear her slurring, and he talks to her a lot more.

It might just be her getting older. I remember at my Sweet Sixteen, my Grandmother, who was about 90 years old was my first candle in the candle lighting ceremony. By the time we lit all the candles, she forgot she already went up to light hers, and thought I left her out. She was so upset that she was my Grandmother/Godmother and I left her out, so I had to have her come up to light a candle again to calm her down. It was sad to see her go through that. It doesn't necessarily mean stroke, which is a good thing, I guess. But it is sad to see them forget so much.

i agree...if this has been going on, it's likely more age related than a stroke (my mom just had one....she actually didn't become slurred or anything...but her face was numb)......she should maybe not live alone anymore? maybe now that you are 'gone' they can beg her to fill your void? (of course, you could be 30 and long out of the house...but it's never too late for empty nest to kick in, right?)
