I figured it would be a great idea to have a store where you can go and see all that's available and try your hand at assembling your own dream invite. Not only will you get to see if you want to try this exhaustive feat on your own but to have employees there to help you walk through the process so you don't waste your money trying different things, or doing a bad print job, etc. Also it would be great for those non-crafty people, like me.
Somplace that you could learn how to do a DIY invite like these and not break the bank.

I agree. FH and I talked about it last night and although I would love to have a beautiful invite, in reality people just throw them out after the wedding. We're gonna see if we can find some nice cardstock and since FH and his Dad are in the printer/copier business they can prob have someone print them for us pretty cheap. It's a good way to save money (esp when our RH is so damn expensive).

You're so lucky to have someone in the biz. I know that the invites get thrown away, that's why I'm only buying one spectacular invite, for pictures on the wedding day.. and nice cardstock and printed ones for my guest.

cardsandpockets.com makes all the paper for pocketfold invites, thats who I am using and I made a mock-up invite and it came out awesome!

Oh, Oh, Oh! I found a great site! Check out nictamdesigns They have really pretty crystal invites and the price is way better than dochelle! A friend of mine actually met with dochelle (cost $200 to see their invites) My friend ordered a sample of the 'Kortney' when I found them from nictamdesigns - it's fabulous and looks alot like Dochelle's for ALOT less! I think the owner's name is Tammy and she said customizing invites is no problem. We got my friend's sample in a sandy taupe color and ivory - it's just BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend them. I myself am leaning toward the 'Marisa' but I don't even know what colors I'm doing yet! LOL!!!

Those are really beautiful but I dont think i wasnt to spend $13 per invite for poeple to just throw them in the garbage ... maybe i can order a few for close family and one for us to save and then get cheeper ones for everyone else ..lol!
