I think they killed her.

I am sooooooooooooo pissed and sad at the same time.
If you all remember I had 2 stray kittens we were bottle feeding. Well they finally started soft food and we let them roam around the back yard...they are very timid and do not leave the yard.. Our landlord had some guys visiting form Newzealand and they would let the cats go downstairs with them. Well one had spilled red paint all over the floor. I had seen one of the kittens covered in red paint and trying to clean herself off the night before. We washed her off but noticed that she was laying down and being more passive than usual but cats are so strange we didnt think anything of it. Well she was missing yesterday evening and her sister is meowing like crazy. She usually comes running when its feeding time or when she hears her sisters cries..Well she hasnt been seen since yesterday. So I am afraid that the paint may have poisoned her. DH is really pissed off and we are both so hurt.

If she doesn't leave the yard, try looking in all the quiet hiding spaces. When cats are sick, they tend to want to be by themselves. If you find her and can't take her to the vet right away, try making a makeshift Elizabethan collar. She should not be trying to lick paint off herself because most, if not all, paints would be toxic to ingest. If you need a vet recommendation in Nassau, let me know. Good luck--I hope she's okay

That is the saddest / most obnoxious thing I ever heard. How can these visitors have such disrespect for living things??? I am so sorry!
