i think this will be a good 06er question ...

WHAT DO YOU THINK SETS 06 BRIDES APART FROM THE OTHERS???

here's my answer:
although i joined the group 'late' and i live in another world (new jersey), i have ALWAYS been made to feel 'like one of the girls'. i've never been treated like the step-child i am.

there is a wonderful sense of community here.

yes, we're all a little sentimental: 'our year' is ending, it's that time of year to get mushy, and our last bride has walked down the aisle. we've started many threads saying 'thanks' and 'love ya'.

so, here is my dedication to you all. thank you for putting up with me when it felt that my life and wedding were falling apart.

may you all be blessed with love, understanding, compassion, pregnancy tests that read what you want them to say , and may we all have marriages that become what others want to emulate.

LOl, i dont know . . evryone just has everyones back here....everyone is SO polite! i always used to post on the knot prior to my wedding, and i just stopped b.c allthose girls were so vicious. everyone is just so nice here, and so happy! lol . . . !

Personally, I think we are a bunch of obsessive wack-a-dos who wanted their special days to be picture perfect. We were all able to relate to each other on that level and did not really judge anyone else's style or preferences. When people asked for honest opinions, we gave them.

I think it is because we all went through this planning process together. Throughout all the ups & downs, dramas, rants & raves, we have all gotten to know each other on a personal level. It is not only about being able to distinguish each other by our first names, but we all have this special bond outside of our everyday lives- something I dont have with my own family & friends. The friendships I have made on this site will never compare to anything in this word.

i totally agree! even though i have been to only 1 gtg i feel like you girls are 'my family' i had my share of rants and my cries. and my happieness. i thank you girls for always being there and knowing i would always feel better when i log on to liw.. you girls are the best and i am so thankful for this website this holiday season.. thank you Ron and Liz and all of LIW and thank you 06 girls you are the best!!! happy holidays!
