I think we found our Christmas invitations BUT we need your help????
What do you think? I think it makes a simple statement ...
Here is the wording: (this is the part we need help with) My parents are divorced so I dont want to put specific names ... is this proper?
The Miracle of Christmas And The Magic of True Love Bring Joy To Our Lives … You are invited to share our joy As our children exchange marriage vows On the fifteenth of December Two thousand and seven At one thirthy in the afternoon Our lady of Lourdes

I wasn't sure if it was too abrupt to just write OUR CHILDREN but I really dont feel like putting a million names on our invites lol it wouldn't look as pretty. Plus, it just amplifies the fact that my parents are divorced. So I dunno

its very nice just the way it is, we didn't write our parents names either since we are paying so we put we, together with the blessings of our parents blah blah blah,

I would say...
Two thousand seven (no and) at half past one in the afternoon.
Otherwise... it looks great.

You can't just leave it as OUR children. Who is OUR... you're not specifying who is inviting everyone to the wedding....
I would either do it as WE (meaning you and FH) or like this:
Jane Smith, daughter of Sally Brown and MIchael Smith to thomas Green son of Mary Jones and Edward Green....
This is how my best friend did it, both her mother and her husband's mother were remarried, hence the different names.
HTH...
BTW, I love the invitation itself...gorgeous!

Or you could do:
Together, with our parents, You are invited to share in our joy as we exchange wedding vows. . . .
