I know I said I was thinking of DIYing the invites, but thanks to a bride (can't remember who or what board) who mentioned ToInvite.com, I was able to find invitations that I loved and FI also really liked, and best part, the price was great!
I have a question though (2 actually).
1) Are you girls planning on buying more invitations than you need? Like in case you make a mistake addressing or you have last minute invites to meet your guarantee?
2) Do you really think Reception Cards are necessary? I just feel like it's an unnecessary piece of paper in the inite...Couldn't you just write on the bottom of the actual invitation:
'Reception immediatelt following at blah blah blah'
i will def be ordering more just in case...what happens if you need to invite a few more poeple or if there are a few more people that you forgot about etc etc...
i think as long as the info about the reception doesnt make the invite look squished then a reception card is not necessary...

I plan on buying a few extras, not for extra guests but because I want to keep one for ourselves and my mother scrapbooks and will put on in there
As for the reception cards I think it is up to you..I think I am because we are probably doing pocketfolds and our church is a bit far from our RH so we know not everyone will come to the church

true about the extra invites.
but with the reception cards, i don't think it would look too squished and I am also going to be including a directions card so the address and everything will be on their already. I think I am going to can the reception cards... saves me a good amount of $$

I think your invites are so pretty!!
I defintely going to buy more invites than needed cause you never know. And i was going to include reception cards.

Wow, those are so pretty, they look like they were meant for your 'theme'!!
Go with extras, for any added people, and also in case any get lost in the mail and you need to resend. Or in my sister's case...she forgot to send one to our parents!!!!

They are gorgeous.
Definitely order extra just in case (addressing mistakes, some come back ruined in the mail, etc.)
As for the reception card, I was debating this myself. I don't really see the point either
I wasn't sure if not including one is a 'no no'

I don't think you need a reception card at all if the ceremony is at the RH and reception is immediately to follow. Good way to save yourself some $$$! Love the invites.

i think the reception card can be integrated and it will be fine!
i needed 100 invites, and i ordered 125..not only for the last minute invites, but for the photographer/videographer to take pics of, to save, to scrapbook, etc..
