I THINK....we have a honeymoon!

Just did some research:

MSC Cruises
7 Night W.Med Cruise
May 5 through May 12, we would take a flight out May 4

Barcelona, Spain
Masulle, Italy
Genoa, Italy
Naples, Italy
Palermo, Sicily
Tunis, Tunisia
Palma de Mallorca
Barcelona, Spain

$1,245 per person

Flight $630 per person

What ya think??? Any reviews/rants that anyone's heard of?

Sounds good to me....is 7days enought to cover all of that though? It seems like alot of stops.

That's what we wanted - we didn't want to spend that much time in each city b/c we plan on going back the following year and spending two weeks in Italy.

if that is the case, why don't you concentrate more on Spain and North Africa....there is so much to see, plus the ships attractions...It seems like a lot to take in for 7 days, though it sounds amazing.

Royal Hideaway was affected by Wilma, and is scheduled to re-open March 2006 - too close for comfort for us.

We unfortunately can't. FI works in baseball and it'll run into the season if we extend anymore time.

Christine that sounds like a great price. We are doing 14 day Med/Black Sea cruise in October, and if I calculate based on price per day, it works out almost exactly the same. I have a friend who flys to Europe every other year, and that is a GREAT price for air fare.

What cruise line? That sound like and amazing Honeymoon. We were going to do that, but decided to go on our one year anniversary.
I don't know if you have the time or money, but you should take a train from Barcelona to Madrid and stay for a couple of days.
That is what we plan to do at the end of the cruise. It is suppose to be a amazing city.

chris...my sister did the royal carib. to barcelona...(i think jess listed above) she loved it! It was however, a lot of running around. She said it was non-stop, but they had a good time. One thing she did was when they docked back in Spain, she stayed in Barcelona at a nice hotel for 3-days, just to relax and have a diff. scene. She was glad she did, it allowed some down time to relax.

I think it is a great idea! good luck with what you decide.
