I thought I miscarried last night ---

So, I went in for a sonogram this morning and lo and behold.....

TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must be thrilled, there are so many twins going around here with the recent LIW mommies to be!

I had a HUGE blood clot, thought it was actually the embryo.

Dr. has orderd STRICT bed rest for a week until I have another sono. He could only detect one heartbeat so far, but it may be early yet.

So, off to bed I go! Boy will I go NUTS in bed for a week!!!

And no, neither of us have twins in the family, and we got pregnant naturally, so.... who knows why it happened!!

Wow, that must have been scary

Take care of yourself, follow doctor's orders.. I'm sure its still a bit early to hear both heartbeats but this is just wonderful news!

Congrats. Make sure you listen to the doctor all the way. When they say bedrest they mean bedrest. I have been on bedrest since thurseday and until further notice. I go for another sono tomorrow and then they will see how the baby is and if i can go back to some of my everyday activities. If not it is vack to bed i go. I am so happy you are having twins.
