I thought it was cheap to fly to Las Vegas?
It does not look so cheap from here- I tried Orbitz and jet blue- am I looking in the wrong place?

You can go to Vegas w/ airfar and hotel for like $500 or less, I did a few times (I went for 4 days when I did)

travelocity.com has good deals sometimes...especially if you are planning a last minute get away.

Sunny did you try Expedia.com??ETS: I just checked and put flight and hotel - got deals for under $1000. I have used Expedia before , I love them!

What about expenses like food, etc. Is it expensive there? We are pretty low maintanance- all I ask is a clean hotel roomMrstc- I am going to look at expedia now.

we went to Vegas in Sept 2001 from Thurs-Mon and spent about $900 for airfare and hotel

We just did Jet Blue for October and it was $119 each way. I think that's pretty cheap : ).

119 is pretty cheap- but it is the same to california. I thought Vegas would be cheaper.

check out budget travel magazine. They have a lot of great ideas for around the same price as Vegas if you want to try somewhere else.We are thinking of going to Vegas too, because they have the buffets there, included drinks etc. so we can spend less money other ways too.

Totally depends when you go. If it's a holiday season the prices are out of this world. FI and I went last Labor day and I think our flight alone was like $420. He just went for a bachelor party the weekend before memorial day and his flight was $200.
