I thought my officiant got arrested!
Sooooo.... I just Googled my Reverend and went into a panic - there was some story about a reverend with the same last name arrested for some casino organized crime back in January.
I sent him a $200 deposit last fall. I yelled out to my coworkers, 'Omigawd, my reverend's in jail!' Luckily I found him on another site that listed his first name, different reverend. Ha ha. How funny is that?
I then scared everyone because they heard me phone him and could tell I was told he wasn't available. I hung up and said, 'Yup, ladies, his in the slammer and I'm out $200.' They all gasped. Ha ha!
I needed a good laugh this morning.![]()
