I TOOK MY B-PICS!!! MY REVIEW OF JENERATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so i took my bpics yesterday with Jenerations.
For all those of you who are booked with her, here is my review:
I didn't have a car yesterday so I had to take the LIRR to her home (she works out of her house). She very kindly offered to pick me up from the train station - so sweet of her.
We talked the whole ride and she made me super comfortable as soon as i sat down in her car.
Once we get to her home, i met with the makeup artist - which by the way ladies - i highly recommed you do for these pics to look your best - and i looked at her and i knew who the makeup artist was! she always uses the same girl - it was OKSANA from MAKEUP BY OKSANA!
she did such a PHENOMENAL job on my makeup - i can't even express how happy i was with it! she told me that i should wear blue eye shadow which i never in a million years would wear and she was like it would look perfect on you and it did! she told me that every woman should go for the 'playboy' look for these pics.
Meanwhile, the whole time, Jen and Oksana and I were watching tv and chattin as if we have known each other for years. Really loosened me up for the pics. THe makeup was only $100 and since its Oksana, she books fast, so if you know you want to have your makeup done, book her when you book your appt. with Jen.
Then, we go upstairs, where all her pics are taken (this is her actual bedroom) and she asks to see my outfits. the bed at this point is already spread out with that shite cover that you see in her photo gallery and i spread out my outfits. she suggests which outfits i should wear in what areas and i agree. i sign the papers and i go to change.
she makes you feel so comfortable while your standing in your outfits that you don't even notice!
she tells you exactly how to pose and that some poses might seem exaggerated, but they are not, even though they feel like they are. she asked if i wanted any specific poses and i tell her which ones and we are off!
after she takes a few pics in each outfit she shows you like 2 or three pics and shows you how they look so far just so you know too and if she thinks a face you are making looks weird she will tell you in a nice way so you don't repeat it and your pics come out amazing!
once it was done, i paid her the balance that i owed her and gave her the money in an envelope with her tip. Afterwards, she has an editor she had to hire since she is so busy to edit your pics. you sit down with Diana, who is such a sweetheart (and very honest!) and look at all the pics she took of you. I bought package A which had 4 outfit changes and i get 40 pics and i bought the cd to put them on and i had over 200 pics to go through and choose! we went through all the pics once to see what they look like. then we went back again and started saying 'yes, no and maybe' to all the pics. until we get down to 40. she was so honest with me and really took her time with me. i think we spent an hour just doing this.
at this point, she comes down to see me, since she was working with another girl at this point and she told me i gave her too much of a tip and she wanted to give me some back! that was so sweet of her i thought and made me like her even more! i refused and thanked her again and she has her editor give me a ride back to the LIRR.
Its going to take at least 1 month before i get the actual edited pics but it was so worth it! i can't believe its me in some of these pictures!
I can't stress enough how amazing she and her entire staff is! i can't recommend her enough!!
I know this was long, but I hope this helps any of you who were on the fence about doing these pics, and just confirms what a great time you will have if you already booked with her.
