I totally got stood up!!

Only me...I swear. Everything is always a disaster...lol.

So I made an appointment with a local florist a week ago for 6:00 tonight. I get there at 6:02 and the doors are locked and lights are out. I walked around the building to see if there was another entrance and there was nothing. I tried the door a second time and nothing. Whatever...onto the next. So I get in my car and drive off. I'm at the light waiting to make a left onto the highway and this guy in some busted up Dodge Caravan from 1992 COMING FROM THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION pulls up next to me (blocking traffic) and is shouting something at me. He's so loud that I can hear him with my window closed. He informs me that he works at the florist and to come back so he can help me. Really? Seriously? I can only imagine the house of horrors that would have been waiting for me. I will NEVER go to that place again. EVER. What is wrong with people?

ETA: No offense to anyone who's driving a 1992 Dodge Caravan.

I was actually stood up when I went to go look at a potential venue! We arrived there and the guy we were supposed to meet was simply nowhere to be found. At the Old Field Club, we were approached by our contact the moment we walked in the door. Here, there was no one there waiting for us, it was so weird! We waited for a little while, hoping someone would appear, but nothing happened, so we eventually gave up and left!

I don't mean to laugh but that is too funny! People are crazy! I wouldn't want business from a psycho in a caravan either!!!

I agree with Kerri...its actually hilarious to think about after the fact, I would have been FURIOUS at the time.

Weird... this is not the first time I've heard of this happening with a vendor (I don't remember which ones) but no apologies would ever make me return.

Oh yeah, they're done! I'm not calling them and nor will I ever recommend them to anyone for any reason. Not to mention the fact that over a day has passed and I never received a call from them. I was completley disregarded. That's fine. If they do this for a simple consultation, I hate to think of what would happen the day of.
