I Used to Believe...

This site is so cute! What are some things you used to believe?

I used to believe that we were limited in the number of steps and words we could make. I thought it was like 100 of each (because 100 was a big number). After taking 100 steps we wouldn't be able to walk anymore and after saying 100 words we wouldn't be able to talk anymore (funny since now I'm a speech-lang. pathologist)! I would always try to not walk around too much or say too much in fear that I'd run out!

Cute!
I used to believe that water towers were called 'water towels' and there was a big wet towel up there, and when someone needed water they would go up there and squeeze it.

I used to believe my father could read minds or had ESP or something because when he would come home from work, he would say things like, 'Congratulations on getting an A on your spelling test,' or , 'So you had a fever today, huh?'
I was little so I didn't make the connection that my parents would talk during the day! haha.

From the site: this one was too funny!!!!
My mom used to tell me that if I swallowed my gum when I farted, I would blow a bubble out of my butt.

For me? I used to believe that when you turned off the TV, it waited for you to come back and the show would be in the same plac.e as when you left.
LOL!

love this one from the site:

When I was 7 years old I found some pads under the bathroom counter. I thought they were knee pads. All the neighbors had a good laugh to see me riding my bike up and down the street with sanitary napkins stuck to my knees and elbows.
