I was just talking to my sister and there are secret e-mails going around about my shower & B'Party (which is just to exciting for words!) & two of my closet...longest friends have been the only two my sister hasn't heard from yet and she's sent out several e-mails asking I guess if dates are ok...etc b/c she needs to 'book' things....it's really frustrating and don't get me wrong I know people have lives & that my wedding is not their priority (as I would never expect it to be) but when my sister has sent out several nice e-mails...just respond quickly, I don't understand....I really don't.
So I've finally sent an e-mail today to both of them saying if you aren't getting her e-mails please let me know if not, please get back to her....Is that wrong of me? and does anyone else find these things frustrating!!!?
I've been SO good about not bothering them and so has my sister & mother...but I just expect that two of my longest and dearest friends would get back to her. It kind of makes me upset ya know...

Im sorry, i think alot of people deal with this... You werent wrong in sending the email.. I think its fine. If I was in ur situation I wouldve CALLED them all and said wwwwwtf?

you are totally not wrong. when you agree to be in a bridal party, you expect that you'll be involved in the planning of showers/ bachelorette parties. it's just plain rude to not respond to someone who is essentially doing all the work for you and is only asking you if a freaking DATE is good for you.

For my sister & friends wedding I was always right on top of things b/c it is something special to them, I guess I just thought your closet people in your life would want to do the same....

totally fine to send the hint email. I would have done the same. I find that the people CLOSEST to me are the ones who are least responsive. I think there is envy involved, even of those who are closest to us. Sad....but true.

I totally agree with you. It drives me crazy when my friends don't get back to me. i know everyone has busy lives, but come on you can make the time to call someone or email them back.

I am in the same boat with my BM's. They live in other states and my MOH can't get in touch w/ them. It is very frustrating...

Funny thing is...all my girls from college whoa re in MD,Jersey,DC got back to her, it's two girls I've grown up with who haven't and they are on long island! Oh well!
