I wake up and it seems all of yesterday's nonsense is pulled.

When will there be more stupid drama?
Crane? Lolita?
Can't have drama without these continued mean efforts of these two. Lame. Pathetic.

I think it's unfair to be so specific in naming people you want on this board. I understand that people have certain folks that they get along with better on here, but I personally feel this board is now a 'click', to the exclusion of others. I don't mean to be harsh, but it is getting annoying

I agree.
Can we get back to talking about weddings now?

I agree!!

I go to the one in East Meadow or the one in Huntington. If you go to www.beachbum.com they will give you locations

For airbrush tanning, you could also try Paul Labrecque on the Upper East Side. Ask for Zoey, she's really good. I think it's $78 with tax.

Is airbrush tanning like Mystic or does it just last for one day?

airbrush tanning is when you have someone spraying you, and it lasts longer than a day, and i think it looks really nice and natural, ill probably do it like 2 days before my wedding since all of that crap stains and id freak out royally if it stained my dress

Exactly. At Paul Labrecque, they recommend that you do a salt scrub before you get to the salon b/c this helps the tanning lotion adhere better. You can also have them do it but it costs a lot more $$. My tan lasted for about 3 days where it was noticeable (in a good way) and 2 more days where it was a little faded--this was without having done a salt scrub first.

Oh nice..does it rub off like the Mystic tends to do or will it not get on your clothes?

im wondering if thats expensive or not for 3-5 days.

When you go, they tell you to wear loose black clothing and you can't wear a bra after they do it either. It dries a little while you're there because they have you standing in front of a fan after you're done but I guess just to be safe you should wear loose clothes and they also tell you not to shower for 10 hours or so.

ETA: it's expensive, but it does look really good--and you notice it right after it's done. It doens't need 'developing' time or anything. I'm all about instant gratification

hmm.... the only reason is cuz im going to be in Vegas like 2 days before the actual wedding, so im wondering if it will be gone by then.

I think the combination of the self tanner and the actual Vegas sun will keep you tan. By the end of my first day there I was already a little dark.

With sincere respect to those offended by this post: 'I cannot wait til it is back to Flaca, Debs, Neenie, azoodie, bunny, LP, me, and all the girls who make me so happy on this 05 board. And I hear we have work to do -- we have gotta get Nennie to 1000 today' ...
with the response ...
'I think it's unfair to be so specific in naming people you want on this board. I understand that people have certain folks that they get along with better on here, but I personally feel this board is now a 'click', to the exclusion of others. I don't mean to be harsh, but it is getting annoying'
In no way did I name specific people 'I want' on the board to the exclusion of anyone else. It was an expression of how glad I am to be back in the saddle posting rather than dreading to come on for fear of drama and nonsense. Although I think I encompassed everyone when I said 'all the girls who make me so happy' I did mention those I have gotten to know best by name. I do not know all of you yet and continue to hope to get to. That said, it is silly to be offended when this clearly was not meant in any way as a slight. However, if it was interpreted in a way you took to heart, I apologize. In no way, Irish bride, was that my intention. That further said, I look forward to many happy months of planning and making new, drama-free friends on this board. It has become one of the best parts of planning my wedding.
