I want a NEW job...

I want a NEW job...

So badly...I just found out that this back and forth between the two offices is permanet!! I HATE IT!! I just want to be at one office all day...I wish there was something I can do about it..How can I look for a new job when my wedding is in 6 weeks...the only way someone would hire me would be if they knew me or if it was a friend of a friend...this sux!

Why would the wedding interfere with a new job? My girlfriend got hired when she was VERY pregnant. I wouldn't stop looking just because of the wedding.

Cause I need 2 and half weeks off for the wedding..what place would hire me if I have to take off for that length of time! I hate going back and forth..not happy anymore..I want out!!!!

i would just stick it our for the next 6 weeks and start looking when you come back from your honeymoon

maybe you can at least work on your resume in the next few weeks

I would start updating my resume and looking now cause it might take a while to find a new job and even if you find something in the next couple of weeks you can always work something out with them to start after you come back.

I do secretary work...have a certifcation i Medical Billing..I have done reception...Do you have something in mind Jen? I'm really unhappy...I have been working at the mortgage company trying to train as a processor..but I hate it!! It's boring!! I want to stay as a secretary..I worked for 4 years as a secretary for a Residental Real Estate. I work in Patchogue now.

That is easier said than done...so unhappy...I am trying to stick it out for another 6 weeks..But I don't think I can!!!!

I think this is a good idea. Maybe you could start going on interviews a couple of weeks before your wedding since sometimes it does take a couple of interviews before they actually hire you and you could explain that you won't be able to start until Oct. If they really like you, they will wait to hire you. But defiantly work on your resume and maybe post it on Monster and Careerbuilder, just to get your name out there.

I am deft. gonna do that!!!! It's just hard...I'm sure things will start to look up! My boss is a real Cheap @ss on the dollar after 1 year he wants to give me a .75 raise!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!

yeah definitely get the wheels turning now, with resume, meeting recruiters, etc, but i'm sure once the wedding gets closer, you will want to focus on that...

i know for myself, i wouldnt be able to look full force because preparing for interviews stress me out but thats just me. ...

i would probably wait until after the wedding,...i know it's hard but try to focus that your big day is coming and try not to let work get to you....

I am gonna check them out!! I did my resume last night and I am gonna make a new e-mail.

I'm so aggravated! I got one of my girls from my old office helping me! She's gonna call me later to talk!

Any other suggestions out there? I'm so depressed about where I am, but Happy that my wedding is 6 weeks away!!!
