I want an iphone!!

I'd love one of those too! I'm bad with technology but it looks like a fun thing to have. I'll probably never go out and get one though.
As soon as I heard about these my first thought in my head was 'uh oh' .. its hard enough keeping my students' attention in the classroom with their Sidekicks... once they get these it'll be impossible!

ive seen it like i said, im sure its cool and all but like i said, i won't really use all the features...I have an ipod that i never use and fh gets mad bc he gave it to me...I have pcs vision on my phone and again i dont use it. I used to check my emails all the time and have AIM on my phone but honestly it got on my nerves after a while. Also going on youtube and all that is great but when im out the last thing i want to do is go on the web...I am online all day at work and most weekdays, i think FH would think i have issues. I just personally don't see the reason to use any of that when i am out or when i would need to, i wouldn't do it while im out somewhere eating, out for drinks, shopping and so on. But like i said this is just how i feel about it.

I am not one of those ppl attached to a cell phone, i barely pay attention to it half the time and i even hate texting on it i get annoyed.

I love technology but not technology that involves me using when im out and about, i like to be free of all that. TV's, cameras, and other gadgets like that i like.

I also personally think everyone is a bit too attached to their cell phones as it is, you see ppl out at dinner talking on the phone while they're with someone else, you see ppl who are in their own worlds walking down the street and dont know whats going on and cant even cross a street bc they're on their phones, or ppl constantly texting. Ill sit there talking to ppl while theyre texting someone it drives me crazy. Hearing everyones personal business on the train now it will only get worse, ppl will constantly go on their phone to look at sites, to listen to music and so on.

I would LOOVE to get one but right now the price is unreal!!!!! With everthing else hype will fade in time and it will be a bit more affordable...

i heard on the redio that the monthly plan is like $500 a month or something like that..on top of the fact taht its a $600 phone

get a nokia 3300

its what i have and kinda does the same things..i have a 4 GB memory and use my phone as my mp3 player instead of getting an ipod

as much as i am a mac nerd - i wouldn't get that phone for a number of years and here is why:
1) Bugs - there are always bugs when something is first out
2) it takes a long time to make a phone call - u gotta go through diff. menu's to just make a phone call
3) costs - to get it and then service
4) theft - how many people are going to get that stolen in the following months
5) i need a phone to make a phone call or to text.. camera phone aspect is kinda cool, internet is kinda cool if i am out in the middle of nowhere and i don't have a laptop around (how often is that?) so therefore no i don't need it.

I am sure there are more reasons but i just rather wait.

i have used mine all weekend - no bugs. best phone i have ever had and i have had a phone since gulp 1986.


making a call is just as easy as any other phone if not easier. no menus to go through. you also have buttons for speaker, hold, mute, etc.

service plan is less then my other data phone.
