why not have him dance with your mom and you dance with your dad. if i was in this position, i wouldn't have a separate song to dance with my mother to because it would be glaringly obvious that your FH won't have anyone to dance with. You can always request a song from your band/dj during the night and dance with your mom - but not have the spotlight on you while everyone watches, KWIM

He's as close as he can get to my mom even though she's 3,000 miles away. I think he wouldn't dance with my mom anyway because he said he doesn't want to 'replace' his mom.

Yes, I wanted to dance to 'A Song for Mama' by Boyz II Men but not sure others will dance since we won't have too many mothers/daughters there....

My hubby danced with his best friend's (and best man) mom. It was sooooo sweet and special to them both.

I agree with this. JMO though. Perhaps instead of dancing with your mom you can do something special like present her with something.
