I feel we have no money. I mean I had to borrow from wedding account to put Gas in my car. I feel like crying. Then I look at my bill and my Credit card debt is like $5000. I could have gotten it down awhile ago but everything is for the wedding.

I'm right there with you. Every spare penny goes to the wedding. We can't even afford the dollar menu at McDonalds these days.

aww sweetie.. i know how you feel. It is so expensive just to live these days... planning a wedding on top of that is even harder. Your wedding will be here before you know it. Im sure you will get alot of monetarty gifts for your wedding, which will help you pay off your credit card balance and start your marriage out comfortably. Lots of luck

i think most of us are in the same boat.....I paid off all my CC's, but FH has some left. he is paying that off while i save all my $$ for the wedding/honeymoon/house.
No more starbucks for me

It's so hard when you are planning and paying for your own wedding. It will get better. My FH and I decided to try and pay for as much as we could w/out taking out a loan..but if necessary we will.

Im in the same boat. It *****, it really stresses me out. My fh and I live together and with paying for all of the bills and school bills and a wedding. Ugh. Good point with the gifts, that will be such a nice feeling. Hang in there!

FH and I live together as well but on top of that we are moving within two weeks as well to a bigger apartment. OH my God can I have one day to relax?

OMG... I could have written this. Thank God you wrote this... I really felt like I was alone and just really didn't know how to handle my own finances. It really is just hard living here... and these gas prices are KILLING me!!! $400 a month in GAS!!! It's sad how much I'm banking on cash presents for the shower and wedding! I need MONEY!!!!!!!

5,000 isnt that bad. we have almost triple that. it is our hm, school, and other little things that add up, when u r trying to save. luckily it is a no finance interest card until late in 07. so i really wanted to have it all paid off and the gifts would start a savings account, but the way it looks is that the gifts will pay off out debt. NY weddings are so ******* expensive. Sorry for the vent.

just know that you're not alone and i think the majority of us on here (i know i am for sure!) are in the same boat. i know its so shallow but i pray for good gifts just so that we can start off our marriage stress free! i just breathe and think to myself, this too shall pass...
