How different?

FH and I walked the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday, just because we've never done it. It was such a nice day yesterday!

I have been to the Madame Tussauds in LV and London and loved it

I hear the one in NY is great - I even had 2 free passes that DH & I have never gotten around to using . Seriously if you are going and you want them, I'd be more than happy to give them to ya (I doubt we're going to be hitting the city any time soon)

when I went it was $20 to get in - worth every penny. Just make sure you go with someone fun, it is a fun place and going with someone who can appreciate that will make it even better.

what other 'different' things do you have in mind?

How about indoor rock climbing at chelsea peirs?

Cooking classes? Walking tours?

They do cooking classes on 23rd and 6th (I think) but they can be kind of expensive...forgot what it's called, I used to get course descriptions all the time. I bought DH one for his birthday one year - it was about $120 for one session.

There's the Cloisters
Bowlmoor Lanes
Skating in Central Park
TV and Radio museum
Christmas Tree
Saks windows
Serendipity
Dylan's Candy co.

if I think of anything else, I'll post it....I think the most fun days DH and I had in NYC were the ones that weren't planned, where we just walked through the park and came upon things that were going on (Snow Days in the park are really fun - they set up sledding for the kids and everything; in the summer they have the roller skating rink set up, so much fun to go and people watch!!!)

Good luck!
