Those are from Smith + Noble, right? LOVE THEM! I think any neutral color is good...but, did you know that you can order swatches from them, to see how you like them in person?

Thank you, I like the natural ones also. But I was thinking maybe about a pattern, I sent for their catalog.
Was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions

I always loved Roman Shades. They were a little pricey for us to get when we were doing the windows so we ended up getting pleated shades from Home Depot & JCPenney.

For an apt. I would not spend crazy money on window treatments JMO. You should wait to spend money on things that you own, not rent.
I also love Roman Shades but if you really like your blinds down often I am not sure how they hold up with the up/down all the time.
I think window treatments, unless they are inexpensive ones, should be in neutral colors.

Christine I like them. I know I should pump $$ into an apt, but Im sick of my valances and the mini verticals are gross

Can you sew at all? They are soooo easy to make. But if you cant Pottery Barn has them.
