Re: i want to move up my wedding
sure your hall should not have a problem or vendors they all have to see if the date is avail and voila your date is advanced

Are you still planning on having it at the same place? That's what I think you need to decide first - and see if they can work with you on it.

Re: i want to move up my wedding
I would talk to your hall... see if they have the day available... I would also talk to your vendors and see if they are available as well... it's possible but you would need to find out what are your vendors policies on switching or canceling...

Re: i want to move up my wedding
I have to say..i wouldn't. My wedding is in oct and i wish i had another year to plan. I am starting to freak out about getting things done and i am way ahead of you. Yes it could be done but a lot of venders you may want are probably booked.. If you are good at getting things done quick...go for it i guess, but i wouldn't change it if i were you

I would respectfully disagree. I am getting married in November - engaged in Dec - I have had more than enough time. I wish my wedidng was a lot earlier! As long as you will have your dress and vendors for the new date, go for it! JMO

Re: i want to move up my wedding
There's nothing wrong with moving it up if it's OK with all of your vendors and you have the money or will have the money by then.
Are you looking to stay at Crest Hollow? Do they have a date that you want open?
I do happen to know of an opening at another hall in October if you're interested.
ETA: You can do it in short time, depending on what kind of wedding you're looking to have. There's no reason why you can't get it all done quickly. I just moved my wedding up and now have less than 2 months to plan the whole thing all over again. However, I am cutting the guest list down drastically, which could make a huge difference.

My fi and I moved our wedding up an entire year. Do It! I'm so glad we did. You have enough time to switch the dates with your vendor. I don't think it should be a problem

Yeah but you had a YEAR of planning..sept is almost 3 months away..So that is much more difficult than 11 months! I am having a hard time rushing around getting venders i want i can't imagine what a rush she would have to be in...

Re: i want to move up my wedding
I wish I could move my wedding up, but financially I can't.. I say go ahead and do it, as long as you aren't losing any money in any way! Good luck.. and you'll have enough time!!

I agree - As long as you know what you like there's no need to take 3 years to obsess over and plan a wedding. - i know people who have done it in 5 months (they also of course, did not have to worry about saving the $$ to pay for it though!) - I say go for it - If you're comfortable w/ it and everyone can accomodate that day -
