I have a dvd with all of my epics. I did not get proofs...just a contact sheet. I can't scan the contact sheet because the pics are too small. Is there a way to copy the pics from the dvd slideshow to show you guys.
Is there a way to download the pics and put them as a link or something?

Can you just browse the DVD on your computer? What type of files are they...are they jpegs?

I think if you click on the pic- you can save it to your desktop or pic file..
If you are on a MAC- hit control and click with the mouse, on a PC- right click- you should be able to save..
Also- you may be able to drag an drop the file into another folder on your desktop.

I can watch the dvd on the computer. But when I try to click to save a picture that comes up, it is not an option. How do I know what kind of file it is?

Right click on the start button....left click on explore. Then....on the left side of your screen click on the DVD drive. All the pictures should be on the right side of the screen. You should be able to upload them from there.

does the dvd come up as a folder on your desktop that you can open and read the files as separate items??
Is it a CD with the files, or a moving picture DVD???
I have FH here-- he is an IT guy and can probably help-- what exactly do you have?

You can try that....to take a screen print...when the pictures is on your screen...press the 'ALT' and the 'PRT SCR' button at the same time. Then you can open up MS paint and 'PASTE' the file. Save as a JPEG.

you need to open the program Paint, which can be found in 'Acessories'. Open a new file then hit paste or 'control' and 'V'.
When you take the shot- it is like it is 'Copying' therefore you can basically paste it into Paint- which will let you save it as a jpg.
You are on a PC, right??

Open MS paint first....then try it. It may not keep the clipboard copy when you open it. I know this sometimes happens to me with MS word.

grrr....what about taking pictures with your camera of the screen while the picture is on it. Not the best idea....but it might work. Sorry

I was able to do that...but the camera is out of batteries and it won't take any more pics. I am going to run to the store and get some.
