I wanted to introduce myself

Hi! My name is Lynda and I'm getting married on 11/8/08 (as u can tell from my name). I've been planning and posting on the knot since I got engaged back in March '07 and then I found this forum and figured, wth?!

I've got most of my vendors booked except one: my hair! I'm very picky b/c I have curly hair and I'm leaning towards extensions and eventhough I started looking a few months ago, almost everyone in the tri-state area is booked! So if you have suggestions, please let me know. I posted on the vendors helping brides and got nothing back.

My hairdresser is doing my hair and I love her. She's been cutting and dying my hair for about 8 years, and she also does all the updos I need. Her shop is in Plainedge / Bethpage, but she does travel to you ... it may be far from you but maybe you could get a trial? Let me know if you want her info!

You can also go to a salon near you and get a trial - you don't need a 'bridal only' hairperson to do your hair, really. Anyone trained in updo's would be great!
