I don't know how much you saw them for but I also was looking at these shoes and they weren't expensive at all. FM if you want more info.

I think your first choice shoes are just as pretty if not PRETTIER!!! And yes the 2nd ones are def hot, but so are the first ones girl! And ARE already the perfect size heel so why start messing with it.
You can run into a few problems with cutting a heel down. #1 On most shoes you cant because of the arch of a shoe. Once you cut a heel, your throwing off the balance of the shoe. Thats why most shoe makers do not suggest doing that #2 If the shoe is expensive, then why would you spend more $ to then have to start altering it, when you have a shoe thats perfect. #3 Your taking a chance of ruining the entire shoe and not being able to get your $ back and then having to go buy another shoe anyway... =/
I dont know its totally up to you but I think your 1st choice shoe is beautiful! =) But if your having second thoughts then look around and see if you find something similar with a smaller heel and maybe even less expensive. =)

you're so right. i think attempting to cut down the heel is prob a bad idea. I never understood how that worked, and you brought up a bunch of great points. And, considering these shoes are literally double what the other pair cost, i really dont want to start messing with them only to ruin them and waste all that $.
This was actually my original 2nd choice.... i guess now it would be my third?? i like these a lot too but i felt like it wasnt a 'true' peep toe....
