but then again, almost everything these days is NWR.

Job related problem with budget cuts on the horizon.

I have been trying to remain optimistic, but in the face of a massive funding cut for the agency I work for (and for the funding which pays my particular salary), it is very difficult. If the agency goes through layoffs as a result of this, I know that I am high enough on the totem pole not to lose my job entirely, but if I don't retain my current status, I will be shuffled into a unit (or maybe even another office) that will not be providing the same kind of services to the same clients. Instead I will be very limited in what kind of assistance I can provide, and the needs of many will go unfulfilled.

The republicans really s uck when it comes to social programs.

End of vent and pity party.

Aaaaw, that does suck. But if you get into a unit that does limited work, with some cases, if the client has another matter, you can send it to another unit in your own office. I tell my DH all the time the few (horrid) things I know about what the Republicans do to legal services programs.
