I was in a book store yesterday...and I realized...
for the first time in 2 years I had absolutely NO INTEREST in any wedding magazine. Does anyone else (married) feel like they don't want to talk about the wedding, think about the planning, or anything wedding related for a VERY LONG TIME?
I almost makes me sick how consumed I was the last two years, I don't know how anyone put up with me!
I'm so relieved to get on with my life with my new husband and be able to put this wedding stuff behind us.
does/did anyone else feel this way?

I am not even married yet and I can not wait to have it all over. I know I am just overwhelmed but I am sick of the whole process.

I'm not married either yet and I'm so over this wedding process. I can't remember the last time I looked at a bridal magazine (mostly because I don't want to start doubting what I already have in my mind). I feel like I used to post all the time and be on this website and now I rarely am. Trust me, I can't wait for my wedding but I feel I'm not into so many details as others. Maybe somethings wrong with me

mine started about one month before too, so it's normal. I wasn't ever into every detail, I kind of just went with the flow and it worked out. I hired great vendors so I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. I couldn't wait to get married and go on our honeymoon!

Re: I was in a book store yesterday...and I realized...
I never had an interest in magazines so I planned my wedding without them.
While they could bring good ideas, I feel they are very frustating.... showing gowns worth $$$$$ that I could not afford, dream hall locations that I would want to replicate but could never do since I had a small budget and I don't live in exotic area and no... I am not going to do my wedding on a private island and pay for everyone to come and entertain them for several days.
I thought I would set myself for failure and disappointment. Envisioning myself on a rough iron balcony of some palace and several photographers would capture every moment worthy of a magazine cover.

That was a good post above!!!!!! It's so true that the magazines show things you'll never afford anyway. I guess I was supposed to be inspired.
