I was in the emergency room last night

I was cutting a bagel and the top part of the knife went right into the palm of my hand really deep and hit the bone. Blood was pouring out and wouldn't stop so we went to the ER. The doctor was even nervous because the knife hit an artery and wouldn't stop bleeding. I had to get stitches and I am all bandaged up

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I am feeling better just some pain in my hand and really exhausted from being in the ER all night.

OMG, that sounds pretty bad! That's why I'm soo careful when I cut something like that. Never hold the bagel in your hand and slice it. Hope you're feeling better!

Oh my goodness, get better soon...I'm terrified of knives, seriously FH is lucky I use a butter knife. My mom bought me this because I won't cut anything lol...it's a great product.

Hmm maybe I should try this. FH said I am not allowed to use knives anymore Where can you get this from?

I am pretty sure they have it at bed bath and beyond, etc.

Oh my!! Feel better. I dont think i would have lived through that lol.. One of my worst fears is cutting myself like that.

Yea it was definitely scary when it wouldn't stop bleeding. I think fh was more nervous than me though!
