Re: I was inspired...
I just ordered my dress from Lillette's in Baldwin. I thought I knew what I wanted, but actually, I didn't. What I wanted wasn't flattering on my body type. Gerri at Lillette's was really helpful in finding dresses that were flattering on me, and they were styles that I had never considered trying (such as strapless). I told her the price limit that I wanted to set, and all the dresses she showed me were well under that limit. Good luck, and have fun!!

I went to Elegant Bride in Albertson. You should call ahead of time, but you might not need an appointment.

I went to Lillette's and they recommended that I didn't bring in more than 2 people - the only reason is that it is hard enough finding THE ONE, without having to listen to lot of other opinions.

Lillette's was great. I did not have an appointment but they fit me it. Gerri was very helpful and nice too!
