I was just agro with my florist
I asked her how much it would be to add literally 3 flowers to my cake: a peony, a succulent, and a pinch of wax flowers as an accent. She wrote back it would be 75 bucks. I got kind of angry. I just called her and was slightly pissy and I'm already spending 3,000 and she wants to charge me 75 for 3 flowers. I also said 'I don't want to just throw money away' and she said 'ummm...ok'
She explained that sometimes they have to wait for the cake to arrive so the 75 is the minimum for their time. She said if you can guarentee we won't have to wait for the cake it will be 30. I'm happy with that answer.
I'm not sorry I did it, but I feel a little guilty. I was pissed when I opened that email. It may seem like I don't appreciate their artistry, but I do. Should I feel guilty?![]()
