It happens to me all the time. I usually deposit stuff at the bank for FH and they always call me Mrs. HisLastName.

My FH has two kids...so the teachers always end up calling me Mrs xxx. I am always taken aback.

I haven't had it happen yet. I'm definitely changing my last name, future married name will sort-of rhyme so I don't know if I'll like how it sounds!!

i work with FMIL so she always introduces me as her future daughter in law. but the thing that freaked me out the most is that i am beneficiary on some of FH's cds & that happened prior to us even getting engaged. so whenever i see mail addressed to both of us i do a double take.

THe first time that happened to us we were at Cheesecake factory, and the waitress after paying looked at us and said 'thank you Mr. and Mrs. X'...
We burst out laughing, and FH said 'not yet' to the baffled waitress
Its pretty funny, but cool at the same time!

it's a great feeling! FH's colleagues used to alway call me by his last name all the time until I told them it was okay to call me by my first name.
