Everytime I try to make steaks inside on the stove, the stupid smoke detector alarm goes off! It's super-sensitive so the slightest bit of smoke will set it off, and it's LOUD!

When I was living in the dorms upstate, I made FH a steak dinner, complete w/ potatoes and veggies and a salad - using only a microwave and the Foreman grill!!!
hahaha oh yeah, it was his Bday - I made a cake in CHINESE TAKEOUT TINS 'cause no one had pans!!!!

everyone made fun of me and called me Martha Stewart!!! I felt so bad for FH - it would've been his first birthday without a homemade cake if I didn't make one!!! Here's a pic - gotta love those round take out tins!!
