I'm in the same boat as you. FH & I were discussing today about getting second jobs to help pay for wedding. (and we're not going crazy with wedding stuff). It will still be hard, cause we have to pay for have to pay for everything ourselves.

I am still in college. I should have been almost done but b/c I transferred I lost all of my credits!!!!!

To try and catch up I took a summer course but it was sooooo full time I had to leave my job for the time being. Now I'm done and I cannot find a job anywhere!

I'm so desperate I'll work in a grocery store. My FH is an electrician and he is soo slow w/work too right now.

Last thing------we cannot keep our budget of $20,000. My mom keeps telling me not to worry she'll loan me the money but I don't want to do that either.

I know the obvious thing to say is I should have waited till I was done w/school but I love my FH and we've been together forever already and I want to be married to him. #2- I am waiting until I get married to make love & i've been with him for almost 5 years! pushing the wedding back a year would be cruelty! LOL

Thank you for letting me vent. I am so happy to realize I am not alone. But like you said, I'm sure it'll work out fine for all of us! It has to right??????

I'm the opposite....I know my money is nonexsistent but I keep telling myself...It's my wedding day!!!....I should have everything I want because it's the one day you can...LOL...so I hope I get a full time job when I graduate in December....or else I'll be screwed.... ...although the things I want I'm trying to find the cheapest versions of so I'm not going that crazy at all.

We are also paying for own wedding. There are plenty of things you can make on your own to stay within your budget and not go overboard. And remember, all eyes are going to be on you and your FH - everything else is just eye candy.

Try not to stress - everything will work itself out. Have faith.

I know exactly how you feel. We are paying for the whole sha-bang ourselves too. We are going to have to wait for a few months to see if we can go with extra's like CH music or extra flowers.

Trust me, in the end it's all going work out and your day will be nothing short of fabulous
