Switched at Christmas on lifetime last night, of course feel asleep 15 minutes b4 it ended but, this movie was alot like my life. Fh doesnt have alot fo money but, he loves me and my ex that I always thought was the one has tooooo much money but, it was an empty relationship. I have to say when my ex wanted me back while I was with FH I was this way and that way about it and I asked my married friends and they said they would marry for money if they had to do it over and I think that is sad. When I was with my ex it was nice not to worry about money for anything but, he was a hard person to get to inside. FH gives me the world even if he cant with both love and all the other things. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am glad I am marrying for love and not money, even if we fight about it,lol. Without love I feel the relationship is empty and I am glad I found the person I am going to spend the rest of my life with Sorry just wanted to put that out there if it made any sense.

You are right! I am sure lots of money would be good but having someone you really love who loves you back is much more important then anything else.

Awww this was the sweetest post. I agree with you 100 million percent. I think those women that marry for money end up with it....eventually when they are divorced receiving alimony payments.
I believe there has to be LOVE in a relationship.

Re: I was watching....
LOVE LOVE LOVE all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My ex will end up making TONS AND TONS OF MONEY.. I am sure..... (he was in medical school when we broke up and is now almost done)
but it jst wasn't right.. he was a great guy... and stll is... but that 'spark' started to leave after 4 and a half years together......... and there were issues that bothered me.. and I eventually realized that it just wasn't meant to me.... because of that breakup... I started talking to my FH-----we were friends at work.. and he was going through the same thing at the time-------and now I couldn't be happier..... I don't care if my ex ends up making 500K a year...... the love I have for my FH is pricelss

I agree...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is where it's at!!!
My friend's mother always used to tell us when we were in the dating scene, never get caught up in looks or money. Both those things can disappear and then you're left with the person, so make sure that the person you decide to commit to is a good person.
Best advice I ever got!

I totally agree. We don't have a ton of money either, but the way I figure it (as corny as it sounds) is that money eventually runs out but I know our love never will! Also, I always think to myself, it's just money. Eventually we'll have more.

i agree. love is the only way to go.. because what happens if you marry for money and one day the moneys gone?? then you have nothing.. at least with love, youll always have something no matter what. and thats worth more money then anything in the world

Yes I agree. Life without love is nothing. You life through yourself and in the end , when you pass... imagine people crying NOT because you passed on... but because you didnt leave them alot in your will?!?!?
