OMG I watched it on saturday!!! I was thinking the same thing. not only that, but other Q's popped into my brain:
1. how is there even availability at the plaza for a June, 3.5 months before??? 2. how can a teacher and an accountant afford such a lavish wedding and a celebrity planner???? 3. why they thought the dress Kate Hudson wore was gorgeous???? --- soooo ugly!!! 4. why it HAD to be June????

Omg it was amazing, I love that movie and bought it as soon as it came out. I still laugh and cry when I watch it lol.
Also, Anne Hathaway's character, when they're attempting to decide who should switch their venue, does mention that she's been saving for the past 10 years in order to afford it there and with that specific planner lol.

Jenna, dont get me wrong I loved the movie! it was awesome I just thought it was a bit far fetched she would be able to afford a NYC apartment and be able to save upwards of 100K for the wedding in 10 yrs. maybe its not too far fetched her dress was dreamy, tho. def something I would love to wear

I thought the movie was very cute. I went with a bunch of my non-engaged friends and when I was trying to point inconsistencies they laughed at me and didn't get it...I guess we brides really do think differently!

You and my FH... he hated it. He said it made women look nuts... and I said when it comes to our weddings we might just be a little bit
I thought it was cute.

LOL - totally agree. i think watching as a bride -to-be is so different than watching as a non-bride-to-be!
