I watched Saturday Night Fever over the weekend
And seriously - depressing flick. And Stephanie was an awful dancer and the only thing more awful was her voice.
Great soundtrack though.

Agreed. Stephanie also looked too old for John Travolta-they could have found a hotter chick. The soundtrack rocked.
Gotta love Fran Drescher-'Are you as good in bed as you are on that dance floor'

Re: I watched Saturday Night Fever over the weekend
DH bought me the soundtrack which was great. Then he bought me the DVD. And we watched it once.
You're right, it is depressing. The best part is John dancing wearing his skin tight pants.
Better dance movie: Dance With Me - Vanessa Williams & Cheyanne.

That was not scripted - did you know that? (I heart IMDB).

I'm not surprised. Some of the best and funniest lines are ad libbed!
Did you know that John Travolta's first wife died during the filming of that movie?
