I went Scrapbook Cottage 2 days in a row & I went to scrapbook alley!

Yesterday I was working in Bellmore, so I stopped in Scrapbook cottage for the first time but I only had a few minutes to shop-its big & it was pretty busy. I thought their selection was good-nothing I haven't seen before. I was planning on getting 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock for the recipe swap but they didn't have any-I was surprised. So I spent $50 anyway then I had to go to scrapbook alley to get cardstock anyway(it was only my second time there) and I managed to spend $40 Then today I was back in Levittown so I went back to SC & spent another $20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus I got two scrap related things in the mail today
I better use up a lot of these supplies @ the crop this weekend! As of right now my favorite store is still Scrapbook Patch.

LOL...you sound like me...I cant get out of a scrapbooking store without spending at least $40!!

My magic scrapbook store number is $25 (give or take a buck or two).

I went to three stores in a row on vacation in September and I spent about $25 in each of them

I still have to get over to the scrapbook cottage and give it proper attention

Where exactly is the store in Levittown? I may need to hit that one up soon!

Has anyone been to the one in Cold Spring Harbor? Is it still around? It was a small cute store but I was only there once a while back.

There's another one in Northport but again it's pretty small. Really cute embellishments though.

The Scrapbook Cottage is on Hempstead Turnpike in the same shopping plaza as Kohls, Damons & Michaels. If you are facing Kohls it's to the left.

The Scrapbook Chalet is still open - I just checked their website:D I went there a couple of times and got some great paper but that's about it. Everything else I can get online cheaper and not have to drive 45 minutes to get to.

uh oh....just realized that the Cottage is really close to my work!! This is the large shopping center Where Old Navy is (towards the front) and Lord and Taylor's outlet is?

I hear you about driving 45 mins to buy things you can get online. I think that's why I haven't been back to either of those stores! If I'm in the area I'll stop by but it's not worth going all that way for. Now if they had one of those in MY town, I'd be all over it

Even Levittown, while more convenient is not around the corner from me.

I chastised the woman from the scrapbook chalet because she's from Bayside and was going to open a store there but changed her mind

But this is all good - I have enough scrap stuff to open my own store so until I put a noticibale dent in my 500 or so sheets of paper, my box of adhesive and trays of embellishments - I am on a self imposed spending freeze
