It was communion party...Saturday night, the place is nice...I like that waterfall they have in the front very pretty!! cocktail hour was nice...no lines, food was good, there was a big bar set up so there wasn't a big huge line the whole hour.
I think there were three rooms...it seemed we were in the smallest...we were really squashed in there. Well there was so much food...too much!!!! Half the party took their dinner to go....the staff brought out containers and wrapped up almost everyone's food. I'm sure this had a lot to do with the menu my cousin picked.... it was course after course after course....first appetizers (individual & family style), then pasta, then salad, then lemon sorbet, then the main course....and finally a dessert hour...it was just too much! But good! The dessert hour was presented beautifully, four tables were rolled into the room with flames and sparklers burning...very dramatic but the tables took up the whole dance floor (I don't like when they stop the whole party to eat, JMO)
They had red and white wine at each table...which cut down an bar visits so that was nice. My only real complaint was the staff...they weren't the friendliest bunch and they almost seemed annoyed when you asked for something... we had a good time, it was nice.
