I went to a wedding at The Meadow Club!

My cousin got married on Friday and her recption was at the Meadow Club. Unfortunately, it rained so we were unable to take pictures on the grounds, but from what I saw, the gazebo is beautiful and the grounds are layed out very nicely. I was in the bridal party so I didn't get to enjoy the cocktail hour, because we were taking pictures, bustling her dress etc. But they set up some food for us in the bridal suite and what I tried was great! The stuffed mushrooms were out of this world, so were the chiken fajita things! She had a pasta course and salad course. The salad dressing wasn't really a hit - it had a weird taste to it. The entree choices were salmon, prime rib and chicken cordon bleu. I had the prime rib which was yummy and everyone at my table enjoyed their entrees as well. She had a strawberry shortcake as her cake that was amazing. Her reception was in the Terrace room, it was a really nice room. My only complaint is that the waitress didn't bring us drinks to our table and they had 2 bars set up right next to each other at the entrance to the room. Since we were seated near the bride and groom at the other end of the room it was a bit of a hike to get a drink.

We really had a great time time and everything was beautiful - all of you Meadow Club brides have nothing to worry about! You'll have a wonderful reception!

I am so glad to hear you say that! I never thought about the bars being so far away, I'll mention it to them hopefully the waitresses will be able to bring drinks. They should automatically bring them as soon as your glass is getting low. Anyway thanks for the review!!!
