I went to a wedding this weekend....
And it was insane. It was at the Hilton Hotel in Woodcliff NJ. It was for my college roomate.
The place card holders were the umbrellas you get in a fansy drink (like you would on vacation in the tropics somewhere). They were stuck inside of sand that was spread out all over a table with an umbrella in it.
The cocktail hour and reception were normal, BUT the table settings for the recpetion were outrageous!! They left no detail undone. It was beach theme. Each table had a full size white umbrella with 4 cnadles hanging from the inside and 3 targe candles surrounded by 'dune like' flowers and greenery for the CP's. They really made the room look amazing.
The dessert was a mouse that came inside of a conch shell that was totally made out of white chocolate...but it tooked REAL!!
AFTER the reception we went back into the cocktail hour room that was remade to look like a mini-club on the shore. Sheh ad a DJ and a cotton candy booth, popcorn maker, and italian ices. Open bar the whole night!! So awesome!!
