I went to C&H Veils yesterday and ordered my veil!

What a terrific place! I know a few of you girls have recommended them -- THANK YOU

Kim (the owner) is so sweet and knowledgeable. She sat me in front of a mirror and had me try on no less than 25 tiaras !!!! It was great! My mom and I then narrowed them down to about six, then to two. Kim even put my hair half up/half down (the way I intend to wear it), so I could get a sense of how it would look. She also put a veil on me.

Once we decided on a tiara, we got to work on the veil. I'm doing a fingertip length with a few scattered pearls and crystals (and a pencil rim). I'm also doing a cathedral length veil with a scalloped bottom with a few more crystals and pearls just on the bottom edge.

The price was VERY reasonable too

Jennbaby, you will definitely find something! She had at least 200 on display

It's at 241 W. 40th St. between 7th and 8th.....

Congrads! I am so exicted to hear another success story with this place. When I found it last winter I was so excited. Sounds like you had the same exact experience as I did!

I'm going there either Friday or Saturday. I spoke to him on the phone a couple of days ago, and he said he CAN make my chiffon cathedral veil !!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's great!!

I'm also getting what she called the 'European' style, which means less poof and less 'layered' look in the back.....

I'm planning on checking this place out, but I was hoping to wait until after the holidays. How long does it take to make the veils? I am getting married at the end of April--when should I order it? Can it wait til January?

She's quick! My veil and headpiece was ready in 3 weeks...I left it in her store for like 2 months because I didn't want to pick it up .. figured it would stay nicer with her!
