I went to Lillette's today..........

and ordered my gown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok well sort of ordered it. We signed the paperwork and put down the deposit, and they're putting the gown on hold. I'm not getting measured for it, however, until June or July. I need to find shoes first.

Since the dress has so much detailing on it, and Eve of Milady hand-makes all of the gowns, they're going to make the gown to fit my height and measurements. Which is especially important since I'm only 4'11' So now it's off to find shoes. I went to Sandy's in Massapequa and found both shoes 1 and 4 from my poll the other day. My mom preferred shoe 4 actually.

So once I find my shoes, I'll go back, get measured, and they'll officially put the order through

The only downside however, is since the gown is hand-made, it won't come in until March!!!!! So that's almost a year without being able to see it!!!!!!!

But overall, I'm just so excited! That's one more thing off the checklist

ahh i was there at 3! i know they close at 4, but i am deciding between two dresses and i just wanted to try the two on quick for my gma and aunt..i think i found 'the one'..i have to make another appointment..i know that was their last sunday open until the end of the summer

Congrats My dress is from Lillette's & I worked with Geri also she's actually in my dress piics in my album, I loved her!! That's not lillette's where you are trying on ur dress in the pic is it??

No it's not. I tried the gown on at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, but I didn't want to buy there (wasn't happy with my experience). I wanted to buy from Lillette's, but they actually don't even have a sample of the gown there. But Geri is ordering the gown for me, because they do carry Eve of Milady gowns. So unfortunately, I can't take a pic in it at Lillette's until it comes in.....next year!
