I had to go today to get the internal examination to see how big the cyst is on my overie right now according to the doctor he does not feel anything but on the paper from my primary doctor when i went to mather for the Ct scan said it was 3 1/2 cm almost 4 so i am getting a ultrasound on june 13th to see the size of it I am soo scared i hope its not a tumor or cancerous. I want to thank all of the people on here who have been supporting me on this and i am so glad to know all of you I want to apologize to anyone who i been really b*tchy too i am really sorry I know its not a excuse but my nerves about this is really shot and I just want it over with. i didn't think i was going to go today i though i would have to cancel it because of the arrival of the enemy! I guess not! again I want to say thanks.

I wish you all the luck and prayers in the world....I need to go for a pelvic sono soon!! I have been putting it off because I am afraid of what they will find...its scary that your doc didn't see anything

Well I have been in a great deal of pain in that area since last night...I will be calling TODAY I am not afraif of the sono just afraid of what they will find

I have had two occasions when cysts developed on my overies in the last ten years. My doctor told me that they are pretty common.....sometimes they will disappear when your 'friend' comes to vist. Don't stress

Are you on the pill??? Just wondering....I went on it a few years ago when my doctor thought I had cysts...its supposed to help but I don't feel it is in my case

No I am not on the pill.I cant go on the pill because of my meds i would need a certain pill that would go with my meds.

Roseann as JPBride said, some cysts 'wash' away when your period comes.
Your doctor should give you a sono after you have your period as well to see if it 'washed' away.
If it hasn't washed away, I'm hoping everything is fine.
I as well had 2 cysts (one on each ovary) and 1 of them my Dr said was the size of an Orange.
