We went to Swan Club Today. Honestly, I wasn't in love with it like I thought would be... First: My big thing is that I want to have the ceremony outside. I thought that the woman on the phone told me that I would have it outside.... so that was my first disappointment. The room for the ceremony is almost like being outside but I didn't love it.
Second:It was pretty but not as pretty as I thought it would be. ( I think I am being too nit picky now)
Third: The rooms (Garden Room or the Contessa Room) for the reception are kind of weird. THeir are stairs (only like 3) and some people are seated up the stairs.
Am I being crazy? He gave me an unbelievable price. Like cheaper than some places want in the winter and this is for a July wedding.
What does everyone think about that? Am I being a bridezilla... because I refuse to be a bridezilla!

Your not being a bridezilla. You expected different and maybe it's just not the place for you. There are so many places to choose from & you will know when you find it. You will just get that feeling!!!!! Dont settle for anything if your not positive. It's your day & it should be everything you dreamed of!!!!

LoL it just means it wasnt 'the one' for you! My ceremony is actually outside, but im booked for the camelot room so that may be the difference!

Your not being too picky at all. Your going to be spending a LOT of money for that one room for ONE DAY..your allowed to be picky!
There's so many RHs out there all making money, because we are ALL picky and are ALL looking for something that we feel is 'us'..a place that we walk into and just get the 'I need this' feeling..until you get that..keep looking! I nit-picked a lot of places before I found 'the one' and I honestly thought I was never going to find a place and I questioned if I was being too picky also...but then when I walked into my RH I loved EVERY part of it and it just felt right...sounds sooo corny but I just LOVED it .. and when you love it..its a lot easier putting your paychecks towards it

I personally love the SC, but I'm also in the Camelot room - if I was given a choice of the other two rooms I don't know if I'd pick it either.
How many people are you having? Our min is 165 for a Fri night, so if you're anywhere near that number it might be worth adding a few people on.

Definitely not a bridezilla! We looked at about 5 places, the swan club being one of them. I had many of the same feelings as you, although I liked the ceremony room. The rooms are weird with the steps. We didn't like how two of the rooms share a bathroom. The pictures you can take there are nice, however it seems like there is so much to the place from pictures than when you are actually there.
The pricing is nice. As explained when we were there, you dictate when your wedding is, not their prices.
Sometimes it doesn't matter what the bottom $ is. If you don't like place, it's not for you.

It just means its not for you, honestly I dont like the room with the stairs either so if that was what they gave me I wouldnt choose it but.. maybe you will find something that grabs you soon

Same here. They offered me those two rooms, gave me a great price, threw in chair covers. I mean, they were bending over backwards to make everything perfect for me but I just wasn't in love! I don't think you're being Bridezilla at all. The whole thing has to work for you!
