Or anyone know a business that does this?

I live in Kings Park, so it would be the Suffolk County office.

I just started a new job and can't get out of work! Arghhhh!

Can you not just send the stuff in? You have to physically go to the office?

I'm not sure if someone can go for you (you may want to check on this). I remember they asked for other ID & then you had to sign in front of them.

I don't remember it being so difficult. The b*tch was going to get my new social security card..although the only thing I remember about it was that the line was looooooonnnnng.

Someone can....just send all ID with them. My DH dropped off all paperwork for me. Be sure whoever does gets a receipt & brings home originals. They will keep SS card.

ETA: He went early in the morning to Melville & he said 10-15 minutes.
