I will start confirmation classes today

So, I never did my confirmation and neither did FH. In order to get married at church I need to do my confirmation, so I have confirmation class today (my first one). I have to take five classes (Wednesdays 7 to 9pm) and then I will do my confirmation on mother's day.

My FH never did his confirmation, and when we went to see the priest, he told us that because he was baptized orthodox greek all his sacraments were done at baptism and he doesn't need to do confirmation

He is now making fun of me.......

He is like....'little girls aren't you going to be late for class'

The baptism is the first and basic sacrament of Christian initiation. There are actually seven sacraments....

Baptism
Eucharist
Reconciliation
Confirmation
Marriage
Holy Orders
Anointing of the sick

We actually do up to Marriage because holy orders is the sacrament by which a man is made a bishop, a priest, or a deacon.

Anointing of the sick is the sacrament of healing in it a priest anoints the sick with oil blessed specifically for that purpose.

I am learning

LOL, Mary don't sweat it. It'll be over before you know it and it may not be as bad as you think.

He is actually Catholic. He was born in Libya of Italian, Greek and Egyptian decent.

One of the three branches of world Christianity and the major Christian church in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, the Orthodox church, also sometimes called the Eastern church, or the Greek Orthodox, or Orthodox Catholic church. They claim to have preserved the original and apostolic Christian faith and that is why the three sacraments in one. Historically, the contemporary Orthodox church stands in direct continuity with the earliest Christian communities founded in regions of the Eastern Mediterranean by the apostles of Jesus.

Were you confusing it with the Orthodox Jewish religion?
