I wish animals could talk

I wish animals could talk

I am so sad...I miss my kitty so much. She is at my parents which has been her home for the past 10 years. I recently moved out when I got married a month ago and she is still at my parents. I want to take her so bad but I am nervous she will become depressed. My parents house is like the spelling mansion compared to my tiny one bedroom apartment and she likes to go outside and lay in the sun. If I take her no more outside and no more sun...we get no sunlight in our apartment. But I miss her so much...i wish I could just ask her what she wants

here's a picture of my Bella

hmm, can you maybe take Bella to your apartment and test out how she is for a week? I know it is rough to keep moving her around, but maybe it will give you better insight into what is going to be best for her.

Was Bella primarily 'your' cat? Did she sleep on your bed and were you the one to fuss over her? If so, I say take her. She will be happier with you than she will be with her surroundings.
One of my family cats had to be put down two months before my wedding, but the other cat was okay because I was the fussing one. I snuggled both of them and loved them. Then I got married and moved out and he got really depressed. My parents let us take him for a week when they went away and he was very perky and happy and slept on our bed, where my feet would be. Then mom made me give him back and he lost a lot of weight.

If you are the snuggler who gives Bella all of the love and affection, then you should have her.

When I got married, I took my cat of 14 years with me.
It didn't take him long to get adjusted and now he's at home here.
i say try it out for a week or so and see how she does

I agree...give it a trial run and see how it goes. Good Luck
