I woke up in the WORST WAY! (edited, now with details of the most bizzare dream!)

I was actually awakened by A HORRIBLE WEDDING NIGHTMARE!!! Everything that could go wrong did, and it was so real.

I know it's just inner fears, my 'id', etc...but I just can't get out of this horrible mood now!

Ugghh, I hate it when this happens!

That stinks!!! I have had some, but they were ridicoulous, and even as i was dreaming I knew it was a dream. Just know that with your hardwork, these thinks won't really happen, they are just dreams.

I don't know if a technical answer will make you feel better...but the reason that it felt so real, was b/c you were dreaming in non-REM sleep...we all do it...but we tend to dream more when we are in REM...

weddings are on your mind and of course you wonder (awake) what problems could happen and it manifests itself into a dream...

make yourself some tea...and sit by your big picture window looking at the boats!! that would make me feel better...

Kathy116..Was it a Flowerfield dream? I had a dream that the pond in the cocktail room flooded, that everyone started to drown ,and I missed my reception because I was in the emergency room with everyone! It was horrible. I had a few weird wedding dreams. They seem to be pretty common with Brides to Be! I haven't had one since. I am also not a Bridezilla anymore..that is what my family keeps telling me!

Thanks dawnie! It was actually an 'everything' dream.

Here's a few parts of it...

1. In the middle of doing my nails (for some reason in the dream it was the day of the wedding, which I wouldn't do), my nail woman passed out and when she came to, she couldn't finish, so I had cracked back nails with no gel/acrylic.

2. I was so late because of the nail fiasco, that I didn't have time to put on make up or do my hair, for the church..

3. My dress was the ugliest dress in the world with big fat bows and was skin tight...so I opted to walk down the isle in grey sweats with holes in them, a dirty T-shirt, and my hair in a ponytail...
(wait, it gets worse )

4. My FI insults the priest, so he refuses to marry us...

5. We go to Flowerfield and found out it was sold, and they no longer exist...we end up going to some seedy motel and have the reception in the bar.

6. I find out my band broke up and the new band that showed up were horrible and insisted on playing all BeeGees music (I can 'dig' some of their songs..but come on!!)

And then I woke up because I was searching for my Bridal Party, who decided to take my wedding back to their rooms in the motel....

I'm still in a strange/funky mood. I just woke up soooo abruptly, and freaked out!

Please, wish me a sound sleep tonight, and dreams of something nice, like Brad Pitt!

I'm sorry, I've had my own wedding nightmares so I know how bad they can be, but yours is almost funny -- and now I have a picture of the Bee Gees in my head

I know, I read what I wrote, and it is quite funny (but I was sweating a freaking out when I woke up!)

hey...if you really look at it...you made the best of a bad situation in your wedding...

you went down the aisle with cracked nails, no hair, no makeup, in sweats...b/c you love your man...

and even thought there was no flowerfields...you still found a place to celebrate!!!
