I recently attended the Great Bridal Expo at the Marriott in Manhattan. As you walked in they handed you a little green card to fill out. I said to my fiancee there is no way we are going to be picked but it was worth a shot. Anyway, I received a phone call yesterday from the company that sponsered the event and they told me that my card was picked. I won a 3 days, 2 nights trip ( I have to pick out of 15 places). A $500 gift card to the companys catalog and 40% off merchandise. I am going to pick up my prize today , . I just hope there are no 'strings attached'.

Whats the name of the company. I went to one and I 'won' from a company called 21st Century. The same deals and i did a search on here and the BBB and they have really bad complaints.. I never went through with it

It wasnt called 21 Century, it was called bridal events or something like that. I am going to call them first before I go, thanks for that tip

i won the same thing there are no strings attached but oyu do ihacve to go and listen to a presenter for like an hour ... mine they were selling china and pots ... and of course FH wanted to thpot but the cost like 7000 and i was like NO WAY!!!!

yeah i had something similar happen once...i was at a fair and we never thought we would win but i got a phonecall and i was so excited at first! It was suppsed to be for 2 round trip tickets and hotel rooms to a place of our choice. But then i found out we had to stay in this tacky timeshare for the weekend and do all these things, and there were a lot of limitations. So we didnt even bother. Hopefully yours isnt a scam though! Good Luck! It's worth a shot, you never know.

oh, and a week after i thought i won....my sister got a phonecall from the same people telling her she had won too, lol...they must have called everyone!

Yeah I 'won' that too..but you have to sit at this time share presentation and something about china. But even though they say its an hour its more like 2o ro 3 bc they suck you in! I never actually called them back to tell them i was going

I once got a call that I had won a cruise. I was driving home from work so I asked them to call back later. They did, but not before my FH could call me and tell me he got the same call! We had both filled out the raffle tickets...and both won??? I don't think so...never called them back!

I was suppose to go pick up my 'prize' today but I dont think I am going to go through with it because I heard that company that called me is a scam or not a legit company , thats ***** no trip for me

some advice from an 06er:
everyone 'wins' that. you weren't chosen, everyone gets the call. it is very expensive merchandise and there are MAJOR restrictions on the 'vacation'.
do a search on here as well as the BBB and you will see that you may not have won exactly what you think.

Me too! The whole thing seemed fishy to me when I thought about it because they said you had to stay until the end which we didn't. I also won a $300 gift certificate for american laser center from a bridal show... this was before I had even gone to a bridal show!
